Why 5 athletes in the 4x you ask? Emma rowed the heat but suffered from health issues after. The regatta committee permitted us to substitute an athlete and Abby jumped right in for the semis and finals. Amazing work and amazing results! If you recall, Abby and Heather represented the USA that summer in Germany at the Junior World Rowing Championships
